OnePlus 9 Although the 9’s resolution has been reduced to a Full HD+ screen, the gap is barely noticeable in the 6.5-inch form factor. The specifics are always sharp, and the colors are consistently realistic and vivid, making for a captivating viewing experience.
Performance of the OnePlus 9
This Phone features the same top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor and Adreno 660 GPU as the OnePlus 9 Pro. The phone comes with 8GB and 12GB of RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB of data. This Phone is, like the Pro, one of the fastest phones on the market, with a simple, jitter-free experience.
It has launched the alongside the splendid OnePlus 9 Pro, a somewhat smaller and more portable version of the smartphone with a flat panel and some features trimmed off the flagship device, as well as a lower price tag. Is it, though, still able to have the flagship experience? Let’s have a look.
Display of This Phone
A 6.5-inch bezel-less OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio is used in This Phone. Unlike the 9 Pro, though, the OnePlus 9 has a flat screen, which is ideal if you sometimes drop your handset. The handset also has a refresh rate of 120Hz and is HDR10+ certified.

Cameras Of This Phone
Like the OnePlus 9 Pro, the This Phone gets the Assemblage treatment for its optics, but unlike the Pro, the 9 has a separate range of cameras at the rear.
A 48-megapixel main shooter with a Sony IMX689 sensor (same as the OnePlus 8 Pro), a second 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter with a Sony IMX766 sensor (same as the OnePlus 9 Pro), and a 2.4-megapixel depth sensor that also doubles as a Mono sensor are all included.
Despite the absence of the IMX789 this year, the OnePlus 9 manages to catch some breathtaking photography that looks vastly different from that of the OnePlus 8 Pro despite having a similar sensor, thanks to Hasselblad color calibration that ensures correct color replication.
In my view, the ultrawide shooter is one of the most fun cameras to play with, and with a sensor like the IMX766, you can play without caring about picture quality.
Battery for OnePlus 9
This is yet another area where the OnePlus 9 excels. A 4,500mAh battery powers the unit. The battery is charged at 65W using dual 2550mAh cells. This lasted a full day with about 35 percent battery left after intensive use with photography and watching movies. It comfortably lasted a day and a half on days when I didn’t spend any time viewing content on the computer. And on days where my phone was hovering about 15-20% in the evening, the WARP charging quickly charged it up to 100% in under 30 minutes, which is incredible!
One feature that I would have liked to see on the OnePlus is wireless charging support, even though it was just 15W.

Should you purchase the Phone
Behind the feature reductions compared to its flagship counterpart, the OnePlus 9 remains a wonderful Android smartphone. The camera is still one of the best in its class, it still works admirably, and the wired charging is still lightning fast considering the lack of wireless charging. It doesn’t get any better than this at a price of Rs 49,999.
